I didn't want to be ageist. I forgot that people can be ignorant at any
age. A lot of people go to their graves believing wholeheartedly in
sexist and racist and homophobic norms. And just try going to a
university. But then, I guess I shouldn't have expected to find
open-minded people there. After all, they're just college students.
Ahem...still fuming that Franny could be labeled "insane" and "knocked
up"....again, what about Holden? Holden did back out of many
situations, but at least he didn't have epithets like "knocked up" (and
the million others reserved for women) hanging over his head...
