Well now here's yer problem, Erin: "But my passion is for movies and Salinger." The Universal book explicitly says not to mention movies. Next time you want to go to a movie, find a good production of _Hamlet_, instead--preferably one with a dog. After you've exhausted Salinger, you might try Nabokov's _Lolita_ or John Kennedy Toole's _Confederacy of Dunces_ or something by Mark Twain or even Oscar Wilde, all of which have a delightful air of urbanity to their prose and sometimes even the odd Salingeresque moment. -- Matt Kozusko mkozusko@parallel.park.uga.edu
