As I was going through the streets of downtown Athens yesterday
afternoon, feeding Big Macs to the various animals whose owners had left
them tied to parking meters along the sidewalk, I witnessed the most
extraordinary thing. A fellow in a suit was conversing excitedly with a
street vendor about baseball. Just as he said something about
"universal appeal," a piano fell directly on his head. I thought
everybody should know this.
