I didn't think it was very good at all. He did write an essay about God in Esquire last year that I thought was pretty brillant, and I will most likely read Purple America ( is that the title? i know it's something purple) on the strength of that essay. It has been my experience that when retailers are making suggestions there is some stock in the backroom that they would love to have you take care of for them. The only piece of advice I ever give anyone is to never have seafood when it's on special in a restaurant. Am I making myself perfectly clear?
