I think I've asked this before but I'll ask it again, because I don't
remember the answer, or even IF it was answered: Does Zooey rhyme with
phooey or Joey? I've heard it pronounced both ways. (and "correctness"
notwithstanding, I prefer it to rhyme with phooey. There're two "O"s
for chrissakes. That's how I pronounce it when I call my cat, and how I
pronounce it in my head when I read about the fellow he was named
after.)
