At least Lisa Bonnet and Lenny Kravitz (and who are they that we should
trust them?!) think that "Zoe" (as far as I know "mit no umlaut") is
pronounced in the same fassion as "Zooey". It is possible that he
changes the pronunciation in his song for some sort of melodic reason,
but highly doubt it. If there is usually an umlaut (Zoë), the wouldn't
that make the name very "non-French"?
