Janet Malcolm's, um, not my type, I think, nor I hers, and sleeping
with the editors never occurred to me. 8-)
Like life, it's more mundane than that. My wife subscribes to the
NYRB, so it's the copy that came in the mail. I suspect the newsstand
issue must run a week later.
End of intrigue. I'll try to come up with something good for next
time, though, I promise!
