  Dear Dr.Cubica

Thanks for your mail. As I wrote, I love JD Salinger's stories. Unfortunately this great writer is completely unknown in my country and this seems very very bad. I think the first papers and critisism about Salinger's stories have been written by me in Iran and really I have tried seriously to introduce this great writer to Iranian writers and specially young writers. As you know short story in my country essentially is weak and we need seriously to work on great writers and introducing them to our writers. I have tried to write papers in our university literature magazine and disscuss about persons like " Simor", "Franklin","lee","Eloise","Arthur" and etc. But really I am completely alone and so I have very hard trouble.Since we have only translations of nine stories and the catcher in the rye (no paper,no critc,no book,no lecture , no...) , I must completely consider to stories, and my thoughts. However you must help me. At first if possible write samples of my write and if seems acceptable , please write me . Then I need seriously knowing the ideas of Mr. Salinger about my thoughts . I must use your ideas and writer ideas for using as instruments in improving noticing to Salinger stories in Iran . When I talk about fine and delicate notes of Salingers work , especially in making personality for young writers or even famous Iranian writers , they enjoy deeply and want me tell them more. Now in Shahid Beheshti university where I work, Salinger and Kubica are famous! But as I said , I am alone and not famous and with deep troubles. Sorry for bad English !

My papers about nine stories have published in the followings:

1.. Tirageh , Iranian literature magazines in Miniapolis,USA

2.. Adabiate dastani ( in English: story magazine ) Iranian journal of story

3.. Honare dastan (in English: story art) in Shahid Beheshti university,Tehran,Iran

4.. Salinger's nine stories: notes about personality ( a collection of notes ,in publishing )

My last work is a little paper about " the laughing man". Unfortunately all of these have written in persian language, but I can translate and send samples to you.Send warm hello to JD Salinger.

  Sincerely yours

  Dr.Shadman Shokravi
