Robbie, I bet, once home from school, while we built junk dams in the ditch
or caught crayfish in the mud or chased lizards in the weeds you (and most
of the rest of this list) were hunkered down in your basement watching
Gilligan Island reruns (or in Robbie's case rereading Plato's Dialogues),
come on you pasty skinned hermits, come out and play! the sun is shining
until late in the evening, borrow Holden's brother's glove and I'll meet you
at the sandlot.
Daniel

I come to my computer and quite surprised at the sudden deluge I spend
so
many minutes reading poems and revisions and revisions, widowers and
full
moons and biting kitties until I can't take another -- and I am
disappointed
to see such overwhelming neglect of Scottie's little gem. What with the
little flourish at the end and everything. Déchire son coeur, indeed.
