if anyone's interested, the supreme court affirmed the lower two decisions
handed down by distict and appellate courts by a ruling of 7-2, rendering
the communications decency act as unconstitutional and violating the first
amendment freedom of speech. . if you want to read more about it (after a
semester of anti-trust econ, who wouldn't?) check out justice stevens'
majority opinion and justice o'connor's dissent (she wrote a separate
analysis from chief justice rheinquist) at www.c-span.org.
