It's amazing that you should mention this two days after I sit my
English final which contained the question - "The modern novel offers no
remedy for the human ills it portrays.", to be discussed in relation to
Catcher and Lord of the Flies.

How about this:
"At the end of the novel Wuthering Heights moderation and civility are
triumphant but the reader is also conscious of what has been lost". It
was a choice between the two.
(plus poetry King Lear and The Plough and The Stars.)

What a lovely paper!

Sorry to continually babble about my English exams, but I just couldn't
believe that you had my exam question in your head THE WHOLE TIME!!
