My mother, who is also on this list, recommended it (but I'm replying first
=]>). But you should probably read the full text of The Odyssey first, if
you're up to it. Assuming you don't know Old Greek, you need to pick a
translation; I recommend the Fagles translation (which can be found at
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0140268863/; $11.96). If not, the
Fitzgerald translation (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0679728139/;
$8.00) is good also.
