I really dont' think I buy all this Latin root stuff. I mean everytime I
read it, I imagined Holden sitting there and saying it somewhat
sarcastically. Especially when he's talking to Ackley and Ackley says he
doesn't know when his roomate is comign back.  It's just the way I
always took it. But then again - I didn't write the book so my guess is
as good as anyone else's.
