No, actually, it was the Camerons.  The platoon, (brigade, whatever the hell 
they call a bunch of men) still exists.  named after a Cameron, long, long 
ago, (not related to me), though, of course, it's a name only & not 
exclusive to any clan or nationality within the UK.
