Would like to mention that, Holden, yes, Holden, played golf. Started at
the age of ten. (Just had to get this in since the undersigned worshipped
at that particular venue from the age of 12 to 17, long before he _ever_
heard of such a thing as Literature or even Reading Books Not Assigned in
School. (No, it wasn't a country club. It was a golf course at a military
base.))

Good questions by Cecilia. No answers here. Though we should remember JDS
is an American. Not sure if sports _so_ pervades the consciousness of
writers from countries other than the U.S. of A.
