I would say Louise has been talking quite a bit of Salinger during her
initial three weeks on the list. It's been a pleasure seeing her posts
arrive in my in-box.

In fact, she seems to me to be the type of person one would like to keep in
and around Bananafish Pond. However, I find posts shot in her direction (or
anyone's for that matter) that include such verbiage as "Like believing in
Santa Clause [sic] and the tooth fairy, you live your life with your head in
the sand...or up your ass :)" not too winsome. And that smiley really
doesn't help.

In answer to Paul's contest: "Person who posts most relevant Salinger
Material wins first prize...."-- if I could change that to past tense, I
would say Camille.

More and more, I find Camille's decision understandable.

A good weekend to all,
Bruce
