Yes, an occasional rabbit hole is fine. And if this list is your rabbit
hole, I can respect that. Some people, though, live their lives in a hole,
and adopt as a Lifestyle total non-involvement or non-interest in politics is
about as stupid and irresponsible an act possible. Telling these people they
have their heads up their collective asses is to do them a favor. If you're
one of them -- if you're non-involvement extends beyond this list -- I'm not
apologizing. I hope you're not.

It's like uncritically handing over your welfare to someone else. In older
days that was known as slavery. . .

Honestly, sometimes I think we WANT a totalitarian government. We'd rather
have a big daddy government take care of us than run the risks involved in
self-determination...
