Hey Ed!

So the plot thickens! It seems the fall from Lake/Blood/Burgundy/Red to
tabula rasa White was preceded by a textural (as opposed to textual) fall
from flat matt to slippery gloss.....

YUCK!

...and as to:

 Velveeta cheese
>(note to Lucy R., Scottie, Berndt, and The Laughing
>Man: a brand of mass produced pre-packaged American
>cheese).

...If you're going to try to call that goo "cheese", we're gonna open a
whole new argument here. North of the 49th, we make them call it a
"cheese-flavoured product", which accentuates the arms-length distance from
any actual dairy. Brie is cheese.... Gorgonzola is cheese.... Wensleydale
is cheese.... Velveeta is, at best, (and I really think even THIS is
stretching it) a "cheese-flavoured product". It's made from "edible
oils"--which can be REALLY SCAREY!

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I rest my case.

Cheers,

Paul
