I love Steve. I used to have this huge crush on him- GOD I saw all his
movies. I wanted him real bad. Your right though, he's so ugly he's
beautiful. He's a little to cynical though, like when he smiles, it's ore
scary and creepy than comforting. I've thought a lot about who I would have
play Seymour if I ever wanted to make that one into a flick. I want to be a
director you know. By the way, I just got my acceptance from NYU today.
(squeaky happy sound). Anyway, I ve decided Seymour would have to be played
by an unknown. Someone fresh and not yet made into anything by Hollywood. The
smile would be the most important physical aspect I'd look for in casting
him, after that it would just be his presence. I wouldn't look at anything
else, if he was any race, color, height, anything- I wouldn't care, he'd just
have to BE Seymour- because Seymour was above all those things. The actor
would have to be a genious-you'd have to be a genius to play him. Not a smart
genious, an acting genious- like zooey or franny. Anyway- if i find the right
person I'll tell you all.
