Maurya-

There are many ways to get your paws on the "underpublished" works. You can
buy a bootleg collection via ebay or yahoo auctions, as you tried, or you
can find some or all of the original magazines they were printed in and read
them one by one. Salinger.org has a great list of all the underpublished
works at http://www.salinger.org/stories/magazines.html , including the
names and dates of publication of the magazines they appeared in. Some
people I've talked to had good luck finding the magazines through their
local library. I recently put out a post that I could supply a copy of the
underpublished works, but that offer's out as I lost the file (I am trying
to get a copy, and if I do I'll let you know). I hope this helps!

Hi Andy!

I am a fellow Salinger enthusiast. I haven't yet posted since this list can
be somewhat intimidating (in a positive way). I do have a question for you
though... how do you go about getting copies of the uncollected stories? I
bid on eBay once, but the price went much higher than I could justify
(although if rent and food could be optional expenses, the outcome might
have
been different). Thanks for your help!

Take care,
Maurya
