I think some of those links to Glass family characters are simply good,
or maybe not so good, guesses. For example, you can make a good
argument that the "Walt" in "Uncle Wiggly in Connecticut" is Walter
Glass, but the story doesn't say it's Walter Glass, and there's really
not enough evidence to nail it -- enough to make a good argument, but
not enough to nail it.

One thing to keep in mind, though -- the Glass family saga was kinda
constructed on the run, and some characters were appropriated for the
Glass family after the fact, I think. Buddy became the writer writing
all these stories after the stories were written sometimes, I think. I
haven't followed through on this enough to really support it, though.
