Contrare, mon petit americane, those explanations and "simple summaries"
would require great courage and an able pen and mind and most important of
all, a large heart. Buck up, not everyone is able to "Go over the Top.",

Unfortunately, Daniel, the "it" in the sentence I wrote which you cite
did not refer specifically to "writing," so your comment is irrelevant.

The "it" referred to the desire for one-sentence explanations and an
approach to complex concepts through dictionary definitions and simple
summaries.
