Well, perhaps I'll accept that about Cleese and Palin and Jones and Idle.
And Chapman, of course, would have to be a depleted old dead clown. But
Terry Gilliam is in fact still making fascinating movies (see his latest work
in *Lost in La Mancha* or his early visual work in something like *The
Adventures of Baron Munchausen*).

Sir, if you're calling the creator of *Brazil* a "depleted old clown," I
shall have to ask you to step outside!

(Note: The challenge issued above is an obscure reference to Marcel Proust
having a pet named Eric.)
