Indeed. What I took to be low list activity this week turned out to be
an overenthusiastic mail filter. Looks like a socio/psycho-academic
game of Risk around here.
Nice to see Diego active again, and at the top of the game. Nice to
see gentle John O. holding a steady course and fierce John G. finding
more occasions to use the word "sciolist." Jim and Daniel have never
been so delightful to read. Nice to see that Kim has (with Cecilia's
help) doubled the number of people on the planet who've read both
Ranchan's and Alsen's unreadable books on Salinger.
I dare say it's a pleasure to be an innocent bystander here.
