it seems as if i only write to this list when i have a question about a
book, but really i'll have more constructive things to say in the
future...
has anyone read our dearly departed friend Will Hochman's book The Image
of Violence in Literature, the Media, and Society. it has an essay
entitled "Swimming with Bananafish: The Literary Suicides of Seymour
Glass and J.D. Salinger". i can't find it online, i can't find it in
library catalogs. any information leading to this essay would be most
appreciated.
