One of the highest compliments I can receive is moving someone with a piece
of my writing. It's my dream to do just that. Actually, it seems like the
least I can attempt to do after being captivated by Salinger's work.
It was really his writing that has created my desire to read and experience
all I can. Before I read Catcher, I read books because I was given the
vague notion that it was a better thing to do than watching T.V. Never did
I understand the true value in reading: understanding the deeper thought
process of one, or many, other human beings. "Full House" never seemed to
do the same thing for me.
