Re: too many roads not enough refreshment stands

    When Kevin started his post of March 24: 'Scottie',
    I heedlessly assumed it to be off-list. In my vanity,
    I want to disarm any critics I was not so rude as
    to ignore it: but did reply - also off-list.

    PS May I say I also misread Kim's 'encomium' as
    'meconium'. (OK, look it up. To an old midwife like
    me, that word can only ever mean one thing.)
    
    Nothing paranoid hereabouts, thank God.
