Please excuse my 'nettiqette by cross posting, but seemingly as all these
lists will be affected by the outcome of this case. For those -not- in the
know, as of March 19, the CIEC went to court with 20 other plaintiffs to
have the CDA overturned. Such material, including the discussion of but not
relating to, sex, pornography and other subversive material, is
considerably, at this time, illegal, though the Philadelphia Supreme Court
found that three of the laws in the CDA to be unconventional and were thus
overturned.
What I have done was give a commentary on the subject as well as providing
more information for those interested in doing more research. Also included
is the actual bill that passed as well as the suits that were followed as
well as other additional information.
My purpose to pass along the information to you, because I recognize that
not everyone is up to date on such matter. My essay is mearly a commentary
of the events as well as my personal opinion.
