The old man also said something terrifically funny about Diana after she
died. He called her a "tweed who never read a book that we know" of and
never said one memorable thing.
(By the way, I had a hardcover first Cat's Cradle that Vonnegut inscribed to
me and it was stolen right along with a very good second edition Franny &
Zooey.)
