Having sat down to read the Philip Roth profile in the May 8, 2000 issue of
_The New Yorker_, on page 80 one bumps into _Finnegan's Wake_.

In case Regis Philbin might ask, what is the most famous apostrophe-less
title in twentieth century literature, the correct answer is: _Finnegans
Wake_.
