    Nor, of course, mine.

    '... For me, the sea breeze off the Aegean ... 'etc.,
    is no grammatical error but rather that rhetorical device
    known as 'suppressio subjuctivae', where the speaker
    leaves unuttered a clearly implicit wish or preference.
    As in: 'For you, no doubt, the dim, musty haunts of
    the book worm - but for me, the clear, maritime air
    of Leros.' There is an interesting parallel in the Greek
    'men' followed by 'de'. (On the one hand, this - but on
    the other, that.)

    I'm a little disappointed but not greatly surprised
    that you did not know that.
