you have some good theories there with oona and sylvia being the cause of jds' preoccupation with "girlish" women.
 
i also think he has issues of "innocence" being equated with perfection - in that only very young girls (i.e. phoebe) or for that matter children in general can be 'perfect' to him-untainted and unyearning-kindof pre-enlightened, untainted.
nirvanaettes. does that make any sense?
