Thanks very much to Daniel and Robbie for filling me in. This all sounds very
Foucault's Pendulumesque. I'm pretty sure this is a good connection for the
movie -- the guy was an information minister of sorts, a good analog for a
secret cult of sorts, especially given his Continental airs...and how much he
loved French.
