Now...that's a keeper, Daniel :). Thanks for sharing...it reads like a
Louise Erdrich story. Woody Allen should make a movie about your Mom's
life...

Jim

Jim, thanks, I could imagine it now, on location, the neighborhood, my mom
is threatening some drug addicted relatives to get off her property and
Woody (whiny) intercedes for them, break to new scene; Woody on his back in
the dirt deflecting blows to his head with my mom sitting on his chest going
to town. My brother and I, watching, reluctantly walk over and pull her off
him. Does anyone have a hanky for Woody? Switch, editing room, Woody
arguing with associate producer insisting on keeping his beating in the
movie. It could be like Adaptation, Woody could call it, "All I Wanted Was
to Make A Movie And All I got was this Beating". It sparks something in him
and he writes the next nonfiction blockbuster at the local Starbucks (that
sells books) near you called _Beating There, Life is A Box of Furious Fists
Raining on My Head_. Jim, be careful what you 'should' about.

Daniel
