Daniel -- Louise Erdrich is a fabulous Native American short story
writer/poet -- but mostly short stories. _Love Medicine_ is definitely
the place to start with her -- it's a collection of short stories all
revolving around the same town/sets of people, with sometimes the same
stories told from different points of view. Worth reading.
