OB-Salinger: to contribute to the "Salinger = Pynchon?" debate, my friend
took an english class this semester with a professor who had
taught thomas pynchon when they were respectively teacher and
student back at cornell u. he said that pynchon is the only
student he has ever given a 100% on a final exam, that he wished
he had saved that exam because it would be worth a lot, and that
no, he wasn't j.d. salinger.
