One pressing question: do > Australians find our accents as endearing as we find theirs? The place I found most like Sydney (and that's the only place I can really speak for) in America was Seattle - another beautiful, slightly crazy harbour city, with leafy avenues alongside olde worlde buildings. As for your accents - I must confess a sneaking fascination with the Southern lilt (and is it Boston that pronounces its `a's in an Australian-like manner? I can't remember where Good Will Hunting was set, but I was tickled to hear them say `Paaak' like we do and not the rounded American `Poark' (: ) of which I can do a passable impression. However, the American accent is so ubiquitous over here as to not be the same novelty that the Australian accent is in America. I must say though, having watched Jerry Springer and attempted to decipher what language is spoken in Trailerpark America, I'm pretty incredulous that some people demanded subtitles on `Shine' (: Camille verona_beach@geocities.com @ THE ARTS HOLE http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Theater/6442 @ THE INVERTED FOREST http://www.angelfire.com/pa/invertedforest
