I read the first two pages and thought, "There's no way in Australia a seven year old wrote **this**" and didn't read any further. I may pick it up again and forget the supposed age of the supposed author of the supposed letter from camp and then tell you what I think... I'm having similar feelings on this matter...but on the other hand, although i don't find it likely that a young child could write something so intelligent, i do find the idea interesting and (only slightly however) entertaining. I have six pages to go in the story and I have really caught hold of anything really engaging in the tale but I will continue reading it with halfhearted delight. "Salinger loves the Glasses more than God does" quote taken from some stupid critique book. i agree with it, though. mathew s.
