hello!
i have just joined the bananafish mailing list and would like to
briefly introduce myself.
i teach english here in germany, and ever since i was a kid of 15 or
so, which is when i read The Catcher in the Rye for the first time,
that novel has turned out to be my all time favourite.
6 weeks ago, out of love for this book, i created a website called
"Catcher in the Rye by J.D.Salinger - and related matters" (url:

so i came across this mailing list, and joined it immediately.
i look forward to reading and taking part in your discussions.
