A lot smarter than we're willing to admit, I believe. I used to teach drama to children, whereupon I discovered how unencumbered small children are by the hangups that so greatly hinder adults in expressing themselves - and given that expressing ourselves is a fundamental part of being human we're breeding an awful lot of emotional cripples, it seems. Hey, a lot of the time I think we'd *all* be a lot better off if we hit our best friends for getting the green glass. Or, to put it another way - better than bombing foreign countries when our wives and nations find out about our girlfriends.
