Thanks for the link and for shedding a light on this:)
I'll be sure to read some of those stories someday
when I have more free time:) So, was Lardner Sr. the
one Holden mentioned in "Catcher"? I do remember him
describing the story about the traffic cop falling in
love with the speed demon lady lol.:)
