Vale'rie,

Gary Lane wrote an article called "Seymour's Suicide Again: A New
Reading of J.D. Salinger's "A Perfect Day for Bananafish." It's one
of the critical pieces I analyzed in my dissertation. Lane explains
APDFB with Rilke Duino Elegies as a poetic guide for his reading. I
like what Lane does and have always thought Salinger had a soft spot
in heart for Rilke...as do I. will

PS: If you would like me to send you a copy of the essay (it's short)
please contact me off list and I'll mail it to you.
