Still. According to late-breaking news, my buddies, guess who just won
the National Book Award?
My understanding is that the novel begins purposefully dense, and about a
quarter of the way in, it does a complete turnaround. The New York Times
reviewer said that he nearly put it down, but then suddenly he realized
that he was holding greatness.
