On the basis of that first chapter from the Times review,
he's certainly too hard slogging for me - still seeming to
labour, as he does, under the misapprehension that inclusion
rather than selection is what does the trick. Can you imagine?
Another 560 pages - & all about some dysfunctional family
or other.
