Suzanne's catch regarding Josh Rosenthal's WTC description in the
NYTimes was very touching...thanks...I was in the dentist's office on
Wednesday and while reading an Esquire quide to the essential, looked
at "The Peacoat" and was told in small print that "Conjuring images
of Holden Caulfield and John Lennon, the peacoat is the season's
must-have for the fighter and lover alike."

Warning--rant coming--first of all, neither Holden of Lennon were
fighters, but more important, linking Holden and John Lennon is an
allusion to the mad man who shot Lennon. How that translates in Pea
Coat style coolness is sick, just sick, but I thought I'd mention it
only because one of the things that this list does is catch catcher
references...will
