Hapworth Would you mind recommending one from this list? I just finished Tore A
Laura, Laura and found it too be just a bit too overpowering. I think the
author was influenced by 'Catcher' but would have done better by easing up on the
profanity. I also read The Fortress of Solitude by Jonathan Lethem. I bought
it because of an ad in the New Yorker that hailed it as 'The Catcher in the
Rye of our generation'. I guess that should have been a warning. Part 1 was
excellent but Part 2 put me to sleep.
