the new style here in fairyland. you wash your jeans with a quart of heavy
cream and it makes super cool designs.

Yes, my wires need to be REPLACED altogether. Thanks for the continuing
good Yagoda references. I have misplaced my copy of About Town (I have
misplaced perhaps 80% of my possessions), and can't bring myself to buy
another, so all I can do is think of what I vaguely recall from that
book.
But before I go to NYPL to examine the NYer files, I will be sure to
review Yagoda carefully, so that I get the best visit possible.
