Elli!?!?!
How could you say that! ohmygosh <melodrama>.
"The English Patient" rocked. Meaningless?
<gasp>
You should be forced to read every bit d.h. Lawrence! <This is a bad thing
btw>

The whole concept of "love" as what was described by the Count, how could
you *NOT* want that? How could anyone settle for anything less?

Don't you know, that one of the, if not the only thing, worth suffering
for, is love?

The count was so Salingeresque. Many people viewed him as being cold
hearted, but he wasn't. He knew the 'price' of love without going through
trivialities and semi-happiness. He saved it all for ONE woman, not many.

That to me is one of the most romantic things I could think of, personally.
I know I wouldn't settle for anything less. I refuse to settle for anything
less.

The movie is not meaningless. I think it had a lot to say in terms of human
relationships, in particular with love, which is so undefined and said way
too much these days.

Obsession is a much better word ;>
More appropriate, me thinks.
