sorry to disagree with "Buddy Glass" but I find your interprestations
simplistic and silly--my sense of a positive attitude shift in holden
through his "writing" of catcher doesn't mean he lives happily ever after
(you've been watching too many films!) and I never used that
prhase...instead, I believe that because holden is more conscious of what
has happened to him, he will be better in dealing with his problems. will
