After I had my mohawk when I was a sophomore in college I shaved it off and was bald for a while until it grew back. And now that shaving your head has come back into fashion I decided to celebrate my birthday this year by shaving off my beard and then shaving my head, and I'd forgotten how much I missed it. Sure feels good being bald...not during the winter months though. ;-) For those of you baseball fans out there I'm sure you're aware of our 40 home run hitting, Golden Glove award winning, bald right fielder Jay Buhner on the Seattle Mariners. Every season they have one game designated as "Buhner Buzz Cut Night" where literally thousands of fans get their heads shaved in the parking lot before the game. I went to this year's Buzz Cut Night with my friend Casey and there were close to 3,500 fans who got their heads shaved. Men, women, children, grandparents, Salinger fans....
